I have noticed that a few times over the years, like the response back to the client got lost.

Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
+1 for me today, noticed the site went down midway through my flight if that helps Joe.
Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
+1 here too, for the last 2 days on the client I got the "unable to upload report" screen with options to view, upload or delete. When I looked on FSAirlines website, the flights have been recorded.
It's not a problem but I thought I'd check the forum and found this thread.

If you get the unable to record message, but you look at the website and its recorded then you can safely push the delete button in the client as it only deletes the local copy.

Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
I have not found the smoking gun yet, but I did make a couple changes that should help things, improving login verification and a change that should help the problem with the client when it has uploaded the report but thinks it has not. I am continuing to investigate.

Whatever you did it fixed it for me. The 'problem' had gone when I landed on 9th October and later.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
Any news about the downs? My pilots tell me that there are small interruptions every day, in this moment I got a timeout error, and on the 17th it stopped working from 12h to 13h (GMT+2)
Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
Down again 7:45 EST USA right as I was landing in Reno, NV on a divert ..... everything went blank. Client closed and website unavailable.

Back up 757 pm EST USA

Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
The site was down this morning for a brief period again, then again just now as I completed a flight. Luckily my flight was recorded, even though the Client had some long pauses while closing.
This seems to be a trend over the past few weeks. Any solution for it?
Regards,
Scott

Re: FSA down? (Client unable to connect)
The problem seams to be related to the updated webserver on the new server. I have put more logging on the server to see if some batch job was causing the problem or some big database query was but when I see slowness, there is nothing else going on. I have tried a couple different configuration changes that so far have just made it worse. I just tried a new settings change and we will see if it makes a difference.
I have changed the way all the background tasks run so that only one is going at a time, which is a good idea even without this problem, and it may help.
