Out for a few days

Post by joefremont » Wed Jul 17, 2019 5:02 am

Hi Flyers!

I am going to be out of action for a couple days because I am going to have a medical procedure on my arm. After that I will have off more time off to spend on FSA as I will be off work for a few weeks, but will be one handed so my productivity may seam different. So if your not getting your support questions answered the way you expect, that's the reason.

Joe.

Heard about the guy that lost his left arm? He's all right now....

How do you get a one arm Joe out of a tree? ...Wave

Probably a few visits to the 'second hand shop' on your time off?

Time for a new feature which I bet you can finish single handed.

Seriously, glad it went well and I wish you a speedy recovery.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Well my time off is about at an end. Its been four weeks since the surgery on my arm and I have been cleared to go back to work, first day back is Thursday (tomorrow). I was glad I could spend most of that time working on FSA, getting the cargo system finished and now getting restore flight working in the client. After this we have to go back to my old level of productivity.

Wish me luck and happy flying.

Night navigation is so easy. Just try to maintain the plane centered between the red light on your left and the green one on your right.

Thanks for all you've done Joe! And "having to go back to work" means you are on the mend and not forever "retired due to medical issues" like some of us. Having your health means everything first and foremost. Don't overdo it at work, ease back in to it.

Wishing you well and happy flying!

I’m going to be out for a few more days, I’m traveling from Saturday 28 September till Sunday 6 October taking the misses on a long overdue road trip. She is not complaining to much that I’m bringing a laptop with me but I’m definitely not going to be online as much as normal. Hopefully things will keep moving along smoothly and you all will try to keep out of trouble.

Happy flying.

While I am back, things at work and at home have been quite busy as I am trying to catch up after my trip. Still have some requests I need to respond to but will get to them as soon as I can.

Hi Joe,
Hope you had a good road trip with the wife. I hope you haven't forgotten my suggestion to enable ranks to have permission to control more than one but not all of the fleets. I need something doing before some of my senior officials start falling out with each other.
Thanks for all the great ideas you have implemented this year.

I just got back from a trip to Vegas. Round trip on Delta's E-175's from KSJC to KLAS. On the way back, after boarding, they actually asked 7 of us to move from the the rear to the front of the plane for 'balance' reasons. I of course volunteered because my long legs were not very comfortable in those 'basic economy' seats but I have never experienced a major airline having to re-balance the aircraft like that.
