Good afternoon, yesterday I received two messages telling me that we had rented an aircraft from our fleet with its subsequent return in a few minutes later. This would not be unusual until I noticed that there was no charge for this transaction.
Is there any rule in which if you cancel the rental of a plane in a short time there is no charge?
This already has happened at least 2 times before, and I wanted to know if it is a mistake or there is some rule about this.
Kind regards!

Re: Leasing without charge
Actually there is code in place that will cancel the lease without payment if the VA does not use the aircraft. VA's were using the leasing system as a way to transfer money between airlines. Leasing and immediately cancelling, so if the aircraft is leased and cancelled within a short time, and is not flown the lease is voided.
