Pilot Tip Fee

Post by Cat » Wed Jan 03, 2018 5:32 pm

Hey did the pilot tip fee change?

We are doing our year end report and noticed we tipped a pilot $250K for completing our Europe Tour and got charged $43 million. That's 172:1 and our multiplier at the time was 50.

Just curious cause WOW it got expensive to reward pilots!

I just looked and to tip out a pilot today will cost us 133:1. Our dynamic multiplier is at 50.

What the tip system does is try to figure out the average multiplier was on all the revenue your airline generated, and uses that.

There were airlines in the past that would generate a lot of revenue at 1000x and then switch to 10x before giving tips, we had do come up with something to prevent that.
