Fokker F27

Post by rob hirst » Fri Apr 18, 2008 1:54 pm

There are a few of these up for sale in the traders list. If you click to look at the data, the range states zero. Can you please confirm / update this as I am considering purchasing one?
Thanks

Hi,

Have no worries for any aircraft type which show zero range. The stated range only affects flightplans - if you try and make a flightplan that is beyond the stated range then the plan will be rejected. Not all aircraft have a range value entered so that particular flightplan function is ignored on those aircraft.

We added range to the database recently and a lot of the aircraft still have never had a value entered for the range, so its still zero. The aircraft will function normally like this. Eventually someone will submit an edit for it or if you have an accurate source of data feel free to do so.

OK, thanks guy's. If I find some accurate data I'll send an edit. All I can find is stuff on the Wiki which is sometimes dubious :D

Lot of data, but not typically very accurate unfortunately. I would crosscheck anything you see on Airliners with other sources before using it here.
