Is that a bug??

Post by SnakeBite » Sun Nov 11, 2007 12:34 pm

I have a Boeing 744 going from Stansted (EGSS) to Newark (KEWR).
I put the maximum fuel onboard 2 flights ago, and I've burnt around 180k lbs on a roundtrip Stansted - Miami - Stansted .
Then booked a flight to Newark (New Jersey) and I had 150k lbs from the last flight which was Miami-Stansted.
Loaded the sim, put my flight criteria and started on the ramp, then back to Flynet client, it showed 70k kg of fuel, I clicked back on lbs (thought it'd show me how lbs I have, but didnt) , then clicked on "Refuel and Fly" without adding any amount of fuel (Just left it as it is), I got to the cockpit, and I realised that the amount of fuel in KGs was converted to LBS without converting the amount. I took the challenge and landed with 6k lbs.
Anyway,, did I make anything wrong? Or this is a bug?

These are the stats of the last flight flown before the Stansted - Newark flight (Notice Block Fuel)

The current stats of the same AC after the last flight Stansted - Newark (Notice Block Fuel):

Yup,

This has happened twice to me. I thought I'd pressed or clicked a wrong button the first time, but no it did it again. To work around this I always click (or leave it set) on Kgs not Lbs now.
Works correctly every time so long as you don't use Lbs.

Well be using Metres for altitude next . . . . :P
