Let's get the party started!

Post by Konny » Mon Sep 24, 2007 9:30 am

Hey guys,

I'm back now from 3 months holiday, had a great time in Australia and Bali, but now it's time get FlyNET up again.

The first thing we need to do is finding a new server. Everyone who's experienced in this subject might help, so what we need is:
- PHP4/MySQL support
- 500MB webspace
- 100GB traffic
fast and cheap :P.

The next problem is the security leak which caused all this mess. I need to find the problem and fix it. This could include a complete overhaul of the scripts. Don't know if I myself have enough time to do that, so I think it's time to extend our developer group. Anyone who's very experienced with PHP/MySQL and has some spare time, this is your chance ;P...

I've used these guys for a few years and been happy.

SBHostingSolutions

$30 a month. Not sure if that is considered cheap or not.

Konny,

This is the service I use. It has got the amount of space and bandwidth you are looking for at about $5/month (the Advanced Hosting Plan). It is also very reliable and I've never had any problems with them. Their support is also excellent :D

Do we really need 100GB traffic ?

The rest is not a problem , I can offer them without any cost (at Windows 2003 or Linux Servers) but the traffic need makes me think :?

My servers are at Miami/US , really fast and safe with 7/24/365 support and all are up to date ( both software and hardware )

Anyway , Konny if you wish to discuss this matter simply send a mail or PM (or use the staff forum) .

Also I think I can help to the php rewrite ;)

Best wishes

I think its really big of you to offer your services like this. I for one would like to thank you for offering both your server and your php skills. I would also volunteer my services if I had a server an/or the skills, but alas, I do not. The best I can do Is on behalf of myself and Avalon Airways, thank you for offering yourself to Flynet like this. I look forward to seeing what the future brings!

Best wishes and thank you again!
