Unexpected PAUSE of X-Plane

Post by MrScott » Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:10 pm

I had this happen to me as soon as I started to roll away from the Gate. X-Plane PAUSED. I checked all the mappings for Controllers and Keyboard and the only thing I could find was the standard Keyboard P for Pause. Client 2.4.0.2 beta. Once restarted the ZIBO was fine and no further issues. How, a Pilot in our VA experienced the same thing flying the AW139. I hope he posts to this as well explaining his issue in detail.

There is a feature of the client, if you the aircraft starts moving before you finish all the steps in the client to start the flight, it will pause the simulator when it detects your aircraft is moving. Before this it was frustrating to land at your destination and discover you have not yet pushed that final 'fly' button.

I know I hit "Fly". The only options on the client are "fuel up, back and exit". My zero fuel weight is not being flagged and my fuel value in the client is very close to what I have loaded in X plane. The sim pauses when I am flying real time and when I set a different time. So far I have only tried the Aw-139; this happens every time I attempt to fly from KABE to KJRA. The sim pauses whether I lift off or do a wheel taxi.

Do I have to start with engines shut down? So far I have been spawning with engines running.

I hit the "back" button and the screen said that the aircraft was moving in red. But my sim version was listed as "X Plane 10 FSUIPC 5000". I am using X plane 11.50 stable version. I hit the "P" button and stopped the chopper then hit "fly". The sim paused as soon as I started moving again.

I tried in the default 737. The sim pauses as soon as I start moving and my sim version is listed as X plane 10 fsuipc 5000. I use X plane on Steam and though I use the stable version right now X plane is set to "open beta" in Steam.

The only time the client will pause it is at the beginning before you push fly, if your getting pauses in mid flight, its not our client doing it.

The only time my flight pauses is when I am running the FSAIRLINES client. I press fly; start to move and then it pauses. Not mid-flight.

It was the FSAirlines client pausing me. The issue was resolved by switching my FSAirlines fuel monitoring from simple to Read-only. FYI if it happens to someone else...

Could you please elaborate on where I can find the debug file?

Thanx
