Client 2.4.0 Install issue

I have a pilot who tried to update with P3D running and now after a reboot gets a black SYSTEM box when he tries to install the Client.

I have taken him through all of the unistall processes and even deleting the fsairlines folder all to no avail. I think he has a corrupt registry and now he is leery of messing with the registry.

All he gets is this that says C:Windows\System32\cmd.exe



Any suggestions?

I have not seen that before. You could zip up the fsairkines.exe file from your program files/fsairlines Folder and have him put into the corresponding folder on there system. But fixing the registry is not something I would want to take responsibility for.

yeah me either ... I offered that file solution to him but he declined and said he would contact his "computer guy".

Disregard and I will delete these posts to keep the announcement clean ..... his 3rd party security software the culprit, nothing wrong with FSA download.
