Thanks Cat, I will take you up on that offer. I did some more fixes/improvements to the parking system last night and ran it on beta.fsairlines.net after resetting the database back to a 4/30 and turning on parking fees by AC for our respective airlines, see if these numbers make more sense to you.

Would there be any easy way to have the system sort the transactions by Fleet or Aircraft Registration so the aircraft are grouped together in the transactions postings? The hardest part for me admin wise to move these figures to our spreadsheets is just finding each airplane charges in the pages of transactions when they post up. I will have to print them and use my highlighter as I go through them, a very time consuming process.... I understand they are in the aircraft pages as well .... but cross checking transactions vs aircraft page charges seems to be paramount until we prove the transactions page is no longer 'tainted' with improper data.

EDIT - I'll run a quick cross check on random aircraft to verify transactions now match airplane logs

EDIT - Looks like you have fixed the transactions issue - our problem child airplane with the most fee's N801FV matches to the airplane log perfectly.

Thanks Cat, that is good news. As far as sorting, I can look into that but maybe what is needed is a way to export the transactions as a CSV file, which should be easier than trying to cut and paste from the website, maybe a link to export all transactions up to the start of the previous month so the number of rows are not so overwhelming.

I am thinking of adding some more financial pages in the site, with income/cash flow pages for va/fleet/ac by year/quarter/month. Probably after cargo is done.

I will dig into this more, there should be 118 transactions that add up to 324,628 v$

OK this is getting really weird! When I add up all the transactions using ALL FLEETS I get $274,058.

When I add up all the transactions using each FLEET in the dropdown - it matches the number in the aircraft logs EXCEPT for planes that have been sold so transactions are correctly higher than number from aircraft logs. $324,601 matches when sold aircraft taken into account. So somewhere between page breaks or something ALL FLEETS is not showing all transactions with parking fee dump. My next step in the beta test audit is to print out the ALL FLEETS pages and then go through them with my highlighter one by one comparing to each fleet page and try to find the discrepancy.

The number i have matching from Transactions per Fleet summed with aircraft logs + Fly Vegas Holdings sold aircraft = $324,601

Joe we are off by that $27 fee on 4/28 - Scott M Fleet / E195 N195FV
There was also one posted to the aircraft log for $1 on 4/28

Yeah something is up with the page breaks - in Transactions All Fleets only 113 transactions are showing 29 per page x 4 pages - bottom 3 lines of page 4 = 113 transactions

I just added up the number of transactions on each Fleet page and get 118 including 2 transactions 4/28 Scott M Fleet

FOUND IT

Transactions that are NOT in "All Fleets" but are in their own fleet transactions:

Las Vegas Holdings - KVCV - N130BW $20
Boise Fleet - KBOI - N211WR $104
Las Vegas Fleet - KLAS - N777FV $50,418

4/28 Scott Fleet KLAS N195FV $27

Total 50,542
Total with 4/28 entry: 50,569

From reading Sam's post where she said there are 29 rows of data on each page, that would make 30 rows in the table being displayed on each page - including the header row. Is your script trying to put 30 rows of data into each page and having the 30th row get truncated?

29 ROWS!!!!!

That's the problem, its supposed to be showing 30 rows. That page is actually finding 31 rows and is supposed to show the first 30, noting there is one more so it can show the 'continue'' link, but its counting logic was off by one and not showing the last row.

It took both Cat and Mich commenting on the number of rows before it clicked for me. This is a pretty old bug so I am glad we found it.

YAY! Yeah I'm betting no one has noticed for years and years. Mich thought the transactions part was problematic when you issued all the maintenance refunds as we couldn't balance then, so he added a fudge factor. This explains a lot. Whew ! Glad we could help. And on that note I retire for the evening.

We got again a huge parking bill....more than 2.000.000 v§... that's to much for a growing airline with 2 pilots... when this is going on, we flying only for the fee's. Is that the reason for that??

Also I thought we dont pay for the parking fee at our main Hub??? Why we have a bill about 1.000.000 v§ for EDDF??

Edit: What we do when both pilots in real holiday or busy?? Nobody fly a month or longer? The Airplane goes broke?

I think I fixed most of the issues., I even discovered one that was preventing all my big 747's parked at JFK from getting charged. I put the new code on beta.fsairlines.net and reset the database back to a backup from 4/30 and ran the parking charge program. Log into beta.fsairlines.net and see what they should look like.

I am basically going to call april a test and will delete all the current parking fees and we will try again at the end of may.
The original fee's are still listed and we just had another set post as well. Just FYI, it sounds like y'all have your hands full and this is just a temporary transitional phase.
