FSAirlines

Hello!

Since yesterday, I can't successfully ping the http://www.fsairlines.net server with my computer. I am timing out. I also can't log flights. All other websites are working, including the Forums. I have rebooted (many times), emptied my cache, tried other web browswers, lowered my MTU. Nothing has worked.

Here is what I have come up with...

Possible Reasons for the Error Message Request Timed Out:
1. Destination host might be down (I can see the site using my iPhone, so this is not the answer)

2. There might be no route back to your computer

3. Firewall installed on the destination host may be blocking ICMP request

Help!

I think I am up and running. I will try to log a flight. I will post back here with my results.

The main site runs on a server in Germany while the forum is running on a machine in the states. Best thing I can recommend is contact your support ISP and see if they are blocking us.

Small note, I have been contacted by Go Daddy and the cheap cloud server I am using for this forum is being discontinued and will have to move it by the end of the year, so far the best deal I have seen is with the same company in Germany where we run the main server.

The main site is now working for me now. I was able to log a flight last night. Strange....

Ok, well the site is down now, there is no response what so ever.

I guess I will goto that other website FSEconomy... later gater...

There is nothing wrong with the site, I did not do anything to it and there is nothing in the logs to indicate a break in activity.

a couple minutes after posting this, it went back up.... who knows what happened.

Maybe you hit it while the automatic backup was running, but glad it came back.
