Diverted Flights

Post by BVU-951 » Thu Sep 04, 2014 11:07 pm

Please could you stop airlines geting paid for diverted flights. Airlines make a lot of money for booking longhaul flights, flying a short distance and then diverting. After which they cancel the follow on flight.
If you do not deliver passengers to the destination origionally booked, then you should not be paid.

The option to divert should always be available, just as it is in real life. What needs to be fixed is the way revenue is calculated when a flight is diverted, whether or not it is subsequently completed to the original planned destination.
I do not know whether the revenue calculation is done within the client or on the FSA server but at the moment it is ludicrously incorrect. Putting it right would be a relatively simple matter - the harder bit would be persuading someone within FSA Support to accept responsibility for the problem.
