Re: FSAIRLINES Problem

Hiya,
I appreciate your frustration, but being at a distance from the issue, gives a different perspective. I remember doing long haul flights too, with earlier versions af the client, and how frustrating it was when you overspeed during the approach due to icing and/or blustery winds.
I remember in the past that the size of my debug file caused me problems similar to that you are experiencing, have you tried deleting it? It will automatically create a fresh one the next time you fly with the client.

This is really frustrating. Another question : does FSAIRLINES depend on FSUIPC? If not there isn't a problem with FSUIPC - and it's an FSAIRLINES error. Can you have a 'Connect to FS' option, just in case this happens, people won't lose their flights... If not, well I'm sad to say, I'll stop flying with FSAIRLINES. I do appreciate your work, but I can't go on like this :(

Think I have figured out something.... Interface : FSUIPC or Simconnect, which should I use?

Thanks

I have found the debug also...

Seems to be:

According to the debug file the Client wasn't able to communicate with the FS using FSUIPC anymore. Unfortunately you can't switch to SimConnect if you're using FS9 and I don't really have an idea where this might come from.

Are you using any other plugins which depend on FSUIPC? Do you have the latest FSUIPC version installed? Are you running any other programs along FS9 and FSAirlines when flying?

I have had 2 fsclient disconnects on successive flights, both yesterday, and today.
Both flights were identical routes (EBBR/UBBB) in the same aircraft (Wilco Airbus Evo 2 a340-600) and both had the same client disconnect at about the same time into the flight.
I've sent the debug log to konny to see if he can spot anything untoward.
