Boeing 757 issues

Post by luisareal » Sun Dec 25, 2011 11:02 pm

Dear all members and respected crew from FSA,

In my airline, RallyeAir we are all coming up with a question that is the 757 is having a bug or a problem, the 757 is not carrying cargo at all, passengers have increased in the seats but no cargo will be load, we are using all models of 757 pay ware and it seems that all of us are reporting that there is no revenue for this type, is someone having the same issues, if so is there any solution?
We would like to see this matter addresses asap.

Kindest regards,
Luis Areal
Rallyeair

Simply reduce the number of seats or restrict the number of passengers you can carry. Remember, the passengers all have ~25 pounds of baggage with them. As such, a plane set to max economy seating may result in no additional cargo space being available. This is something that must be considered when planning routes and seating arrangements, just like the real world. As the flights are still making money, I'm not sure where the real complaint is since carrying cargo on a passenger jet is just a bonus, not the primary revenue driver.

Allright then, so to say, from 185 to 225 pax, is to reduce seating to 185 and then let it carry cargo, that I understood.
Going to try it out then and I'll revert,
Thanks a lot

No, I'm afraid we cannot solve the issue, we have limited the 757 to 180 seats, and then when we book a flight it will say on the briefing doc 225pax, and 0 cargo.... :?

For now, you'll have to limit the seats through the flighplan as the seating system doesn't actually do anything yet due to needing a client update to work. Sorry, thought you were aware of that since it's on the front page of the website.
