Off Topic Plane Problem

Hello, I have tried to install this Airbus A340-600 for about a week now and have followed the installation text STEP by STEP and always end up with this problem, a invible plane but with just the wings and little parts left:

Any one had this problem and know how to fix it or if any one knows how to fix it? Thank you for your help.

Same thing for the Airbus A330-300, I follow the instructions step by step and it gives me this:

These are the only 2 airplanes that I have this problem with.

The Tom A340 Series is for FSX only , and you have to install FSX SP1 or SP2 , or the aircraft won't be displayed properly!

What is SP1 or SP2, I don't know if I have that or not.

Its a windows update,but you probably have got that.
I think i have solved the problem for you.It appears that the base model has not got the fusilage textures in it.So if you download (cathay_a346.zip) from Avsim.com and place the textures contained in it in your A346 folder and then add this to your aircraft.cfg file:-

Then change the line [fltsim.xx] to the next number,probably [fltsim.1] if you only have the base model.PS.if your computer wont let you alter the cfg file,drag it onto your desktop and alter it there,and then put it back in your aircraft folder.
Then when you restart MSFS AND SELECT THE a346 it should have a Cathay variation of the aircraft which should display as a full aircraft.

I do not understand the fltsim.xx thing, I am not that advanced in moding so I will need a good explination or a video to show me how.

Untick "DX10 preview" in the display settings.

I do not have SP1 and SP2 so I am going to download them and install them, should it work after I have those 2 downloaded and installed?

Where is the DX10, is it in the FSX game? I have no clue where those are unless I see it clearly. Also, I was unable to download SP1 because it says I need the real version or some thing like that.
