Just made a perfect flight (LMML-LEBL). But when taxiing to a gate, my system stopped. A FS crash! Good bye FSA flight registration!
My point: Why is FSA this rigid? It registered my tough down. I heard the sound signal. But still my flight is lost, leaving me frustrated.
Dear creative ones, isn't there a way?

My perfect flight lost
Re: My perfect flight lost
The simple reason is, you hadn't applied your parking break so your flight wasn't over and fuel was still being used.

Unfortunately it's not realistic but after vacating runway pulling the parking break and ending flight is the only solution we have for not risking our whole flight.

Your computer crashed. Nothing went wrong with the FSA client. Just suck it up and fly the flight again... and work on the reason for the system crash. You can pull the brakes upon runway exit too if you wish, and log the flight, and THEN taxi in too. The added bonus if you do that is you can now taxi at 50 ias or more LOLOL

Hey Brian ! Nice tip ! I should do this, because I'm always penalyzed because of taxi speed !
(in fact, after talking with ADMIN, I understood that their limitation was 25 everywhere, not taking in account the 60 kn in runway, 30 in taxiway and 20 in tarmac. Now, I'm 20-24 during all my taxying!).

Gents, I was aware of the Parking Brake work around. Nothing new.
But I have a suggestion for this kind of situations:
Allow a FS restart, but only after a touch down. This way one is able to end the flight the proper way, should something go wrong.
I think it is technical possible.
How about it Mr. Developer?

Well, it would be possible to save the flight on touchdown, but I don't think it's worth the effort. How often does your FS crash just after touchdown?
