Messaging system...

something is really wack with it.

*with anything new it says from the system as the sender and i have no clue who it is. also no reply is available for those messages.
*when you click the message icon to send someone a message it still shows nobody in the section that tells you when your writing the message who you are writing to. last night i saw that and searched the name and put it in there and when i sent it, it said i sent 2 messages, so im guessing that its for some reason just not putting the name on the top.

also it would be nice if we could have a sent box.

last night, i had 2 messages missing and a new one. today the new one from last night is missing but the previous 2 missing ones are back.

I have one in my inbox that periodically is there, and sometimes is not there.... it's about A388 routes and the sender has asked some questions, the only problem is... I don't know who sent it becuase it says the "system" sent it.

Hmmm, I didn't have those repeating unread messages problems.
Furthermore I tried to fix the problem, that it says every messages is sent by the system yesterday. But I'm not completely sure if it works now...

Could you please write me some messages so I can actively test the system?

and you cant message anyone if they are not in a airline

had a message coming in and out of my mailbox today. Yes ALL cookies, all temprary internet files have been cleared, plus options suggested by Capflyer in another thread have been selected on "internet options".

Browser is IE8... hope you can have a look at what may be the issue.

also, im getting no system messages. ive had 3 airlines end partnerships because of leaving or being inactive, but no message from them. I also had a support ticket which got answered, but recieved no message for it.

I may be wrong, but as I recall, you only get the message about airlines ending partnerships if they actually click on the ending button

Another problem. When I click to send a message.. I get a box.. great everythings working then I click on "recipient" to supposedly select someone but all I get is a greyed out screen, with diagonal lighter grey shades (with the background showing through both grey colors) and a box which says "Lookup" but NO OPTIONS or NAMES anywhere. Anotherwords... I cant select anyone or anything to do at this stage... it's a dead end? I cannot even find a box to type a name of someone who isnt in my airline... for example if I wanted to send Joe Bloe a message, and I knew his name and he was with Joe Bloe airlines, I cannot send him a message.

Again IE8 is my browser. I have cleared all options, files, and done as capflyer requested in another thread about caching pages and cache sizes, etc... anotherwords, I have done all I can do.

FSA just flooded my message board with one message like 8 times lol

i had a 5 day old message that was deleted just come back into my inbox about the partnership ending which earlier tonight it wasnt there.

ok, two instances tonight.

tonight around 9:30 i recieved a message from a pilot but they had sent it 3 hours before i even got it.

right before i recieved that message i had sent one to Ionathan saying about getting on messenger to talk. He saw it and got on. From the time i sent it to when he got on was over a hour though. once we started talking, i asked him about the message and he said he had replied. as of now, i still havent recieve the message and he sent it right before getting on.

Problems here too. Yesterday, I had an incoming message. I clicked on "1 Unread Message" I clicked on it and it was empty. I tried the "Messages" link. The "Edit" and "Reply" were there but the message was not. I asked the sender to resend it. That time it worked, but the messaging system is literally unreliable. Something must be done.

I will check the messaging system again! It's strange because I've never experienced such problems.

Could everybody who has problems please post the browser he is using?
