System removing pilots

Post by Brian Peace » Thu Oct 15, 2009 2:47 pm

Guys is there any way this can be set by the CEO? maybe a 6 month instead of the current 3? I have had some guys that go away for work all summer and aren't even home yet, get deleted by the system. Kind of unfair to those fella's.

cheers :)

All they have to do is sign in once in 90 days. If they get deleted however, we should be able to reactivate their accounts. PM me with their names and I'll take a look.

Yes its easy to say just log in evvery 90 days,

what if you go on a hoilday for a while, or lose internet connection. (for what ever reason. Example if you could not afford some internet during these some what harder times?)

Just ideas i have thought off.

Cheers

I understand that there are circumstances where that is not possible, however we are able to re-activate accounts if we're asked to as long as it's within (I think) 90 days after they're marked inactive (i.e. you have 6 months from last login before your account is completely removed).

In addition, we are discussing adding more functionality to reactivating pilots such as allowing a link in the "inactive pilot" e-mail to allow you to self-reactivate, and other functions to allow for designated periods of inactivity so that if you know you'll be without internet, you can set the system to make you inactive for the period you'll be inactive. That way you won't loose your account.
