Thanks Dave. Should help getting it looked at too because it's not buried within this thread. :)

Additional info on this problem. I've noticed that I'm automatically given a notice about inflight refuel if I do consecutive flights. This is regardless of what I do otherwise. I just tested it twice and immediately after fueling on the second flight, the "inflight refueling" penalty shows up on the client status screen. I don't know if this is just a false detection or if that's what's causing some of the problems.

Ok, thanks for the info, I already thought that this might happen. I'll fix that in the next release.

And thanks everybody for the debug.out files, keep them coming (konny@fsairlines.net). Seems like it happens quite often that just a little bit of fuel is added (+/-1kg), might be some way for PMDG to take control over the fuel consumption or just a rounding problem in the Client. Anyway, I change that, so these small changes won't cause a penalty anymore.

But what I'm really interested in is the changes that add so much fuel that the flight report says you didn't use any fuel. I actually added the penalty to track down the reason for these 'cheated flights'.

Hi Konny

One of our pilots got the inflight refuel critique on both his last two PIREPS. Both times he was flying the PMDG MD11F. Here are the links.

Hi Rob

Just out of interest is your pilot loading his fuel via PMDG software first before he selects 'Fly' in the Client ?

Just got one of the fuel cheat messages AND my son got tagged for a BIG hit --
flt was from PANC-PAJN - you can see the starting fuel and the landing fuel with a burn of approx 3000kgs -- it seems we
must have passed closed to the fuel pumps at Juneau because the ending fuel is almost 7000kgs MORE than the landing fuel
can you remove this cheat please

It did do it again! Last weekend I made a flight with (one of my favorite) the Captain-Sim C130, and yes it is/was market as a cheat flight! Eventually I did get a penalty etc etc. Well, I always or most off the time have it with this plane ... there was enough fuel in the tank, to go from EHAM to EDDF so I did not refuel at all! I did get punished for it .... mmmm not good!

How can this be happening with the Captain Sim C130? I did put all fuel pumps on and activated all cross feed valves ..
My airline rating went down from 120% to 116%! Not good ....

any news on this?

Hi,

Easiest way to sort a lot of these problems is to load the fuel that you want into your aircraft before you load the client. Once you have done that DON'T change any of the fuel figures by using the client. Just select the 'Fuel Up' button and fly. Once you see the 'flying' window of the client ensure the figure being reported there is what you expected. If it isn't then something is wrong so go back and try again.

Konny,
Just upgraded to the new Client. Cannot load fuel because aircraft is at MTOW and cannot change passanger or cargo weights because the "Change" boxes on the "Confirm Flight" page don't work.
Help!!

Endo,

Can you please start a new thread and not restart this old one which is no longer relevant as the client is updated. I shall lock this thread now.
