New Profile Card - lack of email info

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this ...

I like to email a new pilot with some info about our VA and FSAirlines systems, now however I find that I cannot do this as the pilot's email address is no longer displayed.

Is this intentional or an oversight [or just to keep the "card" looking pretty ].

If the CEO (and authorised VA staff) cannot have access to a pilot's email address can we please have a better messaging system - i.e. one with folders for sent, drafts etc. - instead of the present minimalist "received messages" page.
