Last night while I was flying LOWW to LIEE suddenly one of my B763's engines was in fire. I had to cut fuel to that engine and to release both anti-fire bottles, but it continued burning itself.
I always have Level-D and FSX failures disconnected, so i thought it was made by the FSA client.
Is this possible??
Thanks,
P.D.: I've landed succesfully in LIRP with one only engine runnig.
Does client generate aircraft failures??

Re: Does client generate aircraft failures??
Hi,
I don't think the failures are currently active in the client. Even if they were, it would only give you an engine failure not a fire.

John

Well, since v1.1.0 the failures are active again. And yes, if your client uses SimConnect you get Engine on fire failures instead of the usual engine failures. Might be the same with FSUIPC in FSX, I'm not sure...
If you activated the "show messages" option in the client you should get notified each time a failure occurs.

Hi Konny,
Hehe, nothing like a bit of warning lol ! What failures are currently programmed into the client and at what maintenance states will they become active ?

Re: Does client generate aircraft failures??
Yes indeed. A quick update on the forums would suffice when a new client is released, and would probably save a lot of questions being asked too! maybe in the "client history" thread... each time a new one's released, maybe it could be updated with what the new release contained? Thanks for all you do guys!
