Connection Issue

Post by SUR4002 » Sat Nov 08, 2008 8:17 pm

I have downloaded the new client, and when I click Log on after put user and password I get the following error Message:

"Connection Falied, you appears to be not connected to INternet or Our page is offline"..

I am connected to internet and I dont have any firewall on my computer...

Any suggestion?

Could it be because you have no Signature banner and the client doesn,t know who you are.

Check your firewall has given permission for the client to connect to the net.

While you have FS and the pilot client open, can you open a Dos Box/Command Prompt and type the following :-

ping www.fsairlines.net [enter]
and post what it says :- it "should" look something similar to below

Code: Select all

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

F:\ping www.fsairlines.net

Pinging www.fsairlines.net [68.178.145.109] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 68.178.145.109: bytes=32 time=148ms TTL=43
Reply from 68.178.145.109: bytes=32 time=152ms TTL=43
Reply from 68.178.145.109: bytes=32 time=150ms TTL=43
Reply from 68.178.145.109: bytes=32 time=151ms TTL=43

Ping statistics for 68.178.145.109:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 148ms, Maximum = 152ms, Average = 150ms

I am able to enter to the site from the same computer..
Is not a DNS resolution issue...

Did you do what I asked ?
I'm not looking for DNS problems, I'm sure the client uses an IP address anyway.
What is your OS ?

I have the same problem.
I put my username, my password and the client can`t connect
Appears a message: "It looks like you are either not connected to the internet or our homepage is currently down"

I have FSUIPC 3.85
I give permission to the client in firewall to connect the web

I can`t make it work, any suggestion?

can you please copy the last about 20 lines of your debug.out ( in the fsairlines folder ) into this topic?
Everything below the last entry of

Code: Select all

10.1.2009 - 20:46:25.937 ----------------------------------
10.1.2009 - 20:46:25.937 ---------FSAirlines Log-----------
10.1.2009 - 20:46:25.937 ----------------------------------
might be interesting
