Wrong Airport Code

Post by Dave seventhree » Thu Nov 06, 2008 2:33 pm

Hi, Hope i've posted in the right place... in between a world tour atm.. with airuk, i added and booked a flight to -

Name Hang Nadim
IATA BTH
ICAO WIKB
Size Intercontinental
City Batam
Country Indonesia

Fsx does not recognise the ICAO Code as WIKB but Instead the same airport is recognised as WIDD.
May be worth updating the airport directory and include WIDD.

Thanks
Dave.

the problem is that FSX runs the updated icao codes... so it was changed between fs9 and fsx... so if it get changed, then its also changing fs9's... so only thing that could be done is to add anothe box for FSX's code.

As has been stated previously, the database shows the ICAO code that is current to the FS9 database. If it's been updated, then you'll just have to know the difference. We have been discussing support for multiple ICAO codes or something along those lines, but I've not heard anything concrete yet on the issue from the programmers as to when/if something will get implimented.
