Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
Hello All,
I noticed that Airbus 320 is always taking 4184 kg Cargo.
In the same route, We ( my airlines ) tried with Boeing 737 and Fokker 100 also... 737 having 1600kg cargo, Fokker 100 is about 350-750kg cargo approximately but Airbus is Always 4184 kg, without doubt...
We have a competition in monthly pilot statistic and this is not fair. My friend always flies with A320 and makes more money...
We ( my and my friends at airline ) thought that it is a Bug of FsAirlines Database about A320 Aircraft...
I wish someone from FSA could solve this problem immediately, please
Best Regards.

Re: Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
I have also noticed same cargo load porblem with F100 (Fokker 100)
It always have around 375 Kg. of cargo load with full pax (105) , though it has 3000 KG of cargo capacity.
Thank you for your kind concern in advance.

Re: Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
Cargo=Cargo Capacity -(Number of Passengers x 25kg of baggage)
For the F100 3000-2625=375
For the A320 7938-3750=4188
These amounts are correct.

Re: Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
The weights on the A320 could use some adjustment but the cargo weights are correct, unless you compare a B738 to an A320, all other comparisons are irrelevant and the A320 will usually win. Also, take into account the age of technology of when the aircraft was first produced.

Tyler,
Check the maths and look at your old flight reports of MD83 where you had max pax. It has been explained well above, so please take the time to read and digest what is being said.
Regards
John

Re: Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
well no, because the average weight of pax is 102 which includes the bagage already... that should be revenue cargo space. why then am i being hit twice with lugage weights if that is the case? http://www.fsairlines.net/forum/viewtop ... 010#p27010

Re: Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
ok this even justifies my claim further... just did a flight in a 757-200 that took off well below MTOW http://www.fsairlines.net/index.php5?st ... 711&p=4631
the 757 has a cargo cap of 10010kgs.
the flight had 4228kgs of cargo.
there were 186 pax which with what you are saying would be 4650kgs or bagage...
4,228+4,650=8,878 not 10,010 which it should have been so im still right in saying that im not getting the normal cargo loads i should be.
has something changed that wasnt told that is doing this?

Re: Airbus 320 Cargo Problem
In the case of the 757-200 the key to the puzzle is the max zero fuel weight.
MZFW - DOW - 102kg * pax = 85,300 - 62,100 - 186 * 102 = 4,228kg.
