Error opening flightplans
Since yesterday I have an error while opening flightplans for all airports and aircraft.
Don't mind the Dutch part of the text. It just says the browser can not open the webpage. This is regarding the world image only. The flightplans are still visible.
In other pages this world image is visible, just not at this one.

Re: Error opening flightplans
It may have been simple web traffic congestion causing the problem. As the map is sourced off a different site, if that site is having problems (or ours is) it will occasionally cause the link to time out, and thus result in the problem you saw. Most likely all that happened was whatever was causing the congestion cleared and everything returned to normal.

Hm, we didn't change anything. Just wanted to pinpoint the reason for this problem
Please tell us if it happens again.

Negative. I was just looking which flights were to be amended as I did not complete all of them yet with routes.Konny wrote:hm, but you didn't make any changes to your flightplan, did you?
With all other options like airports and aircraft the world image shows up. Unfortunately not always with the option all airports and all aircraft.

Re: Error opening flightplans
Seems like this is kind of a performance problem, when there are too many object on the map the script is aborted and then IE can't show the page because it's incomplete. Other browser like Firefox don't mind and show it anyway ^^. Will see if I can find a solution to that problem.

Don't know if it is a solution, but since I use Firefox this problem does not exist anymore.Konny wrote:Seems like this is kind of a performance problem, when there are too many object on the map the script is aborted and then IE can't show the page because it's incomplete. Re: Error opening flightplans
LOL... the last word on the error box that's in dutch text if you look closely - is "broken" that's all we need to know! :):)
the same thing happens to me too... I figured it's becuase we have too many flightplans for the site to load that it's sourced to.

Re: Error opening flightplans
Negative. In Firefox everything works fine as I wrote before. So it is a problem within the Explorer. In some way Explorer can not handle that many flightplans but Firefox does not have any problem. I changed to Firefox due to the Explorer leak I heard of and I must say, not bad at all that Firefox...Brian Peace wrote:LOL... the last word on the error box that's in dutch text if you look closely - is "broken" that's all we need to know! :):)

Re: Error opening flightplans
I have it in Explorer, witch crashes completely! And also in Firefox, it takes long and makes the browsers realy unstable afterwards. Is there not a simple solution?
