Odd A/C value

I just had an A/C return from a lease with an odd value.
B734/N1018ZG 11.500.000 v$

I'm currently leasing a 734 and it shows a value of $11.486.971

Why does that seam odd? Thats the current market value in our database for the 737-400.

11.5 million for a B734? The rest of mine of that variation are 44 million.

They won't be when you fly or maintain them.
They were grossly overvalued and it was adjusted last week to reflect the real world value of the aircraft.

Actually they should all be re-adjusted as I did a global recalculation to correct the other problems that have occured, so they should all reflect the new values right now.

So a B734 is worth less than an ATR 72? Not really right seeing as how the B734 is much larger and scrap parts are worth much more.

Totally right. Remember, the 737-400 is no longer in production. The ATR is. So you're paying for a NEW ATR versus a USED 737-400.

question...
does the value reflect the youngest 734 or the oldest? there are 734's out there that are only 8 years old while the oldest is 20... but since we get "new" old planes shouldnt the value reflect the youngest? jut curious how it was set up...

I took a cross-section of those available on the market and put it at that level. I also looked for those fitted with airline interiors or cargo interiors where applicable and not those with Executive interiors.
