Why is my "Gross profit" is multiplied by 50 ?
Why is my "Gross profit" is multiplied by 50 ?
Hello Sir.
I saw that my "Gross profit" is multiplied by 50 and that of the other pilots is multiplied by 300, Why?
Do you know why ?
Thanks.

Hi amb
A clue to your VA would be a help but in the absence of that.. your multiplyer depends on how much the VA is worth. High initial multiplyers were put in place to get the ball rolling if you see what I mean and these have been drastically reduced in the FSA client. Every other pilot in the VA you fly for will also be getting x50 Our multiplyer at CBFS was 200 in FlyNET and this is now 25 which is not a problem as we are worth quite a few dollars. All it really means is that our profits are less under the new system
There is a thread listing old and new multiplyers http://www.fsairlines.net/forum/viewtop ... =86&t=4859

Thank you for your response, but the other pilots of my VA multiplied by 300.
How is that?

Hi amb..
THAT I don't know. As far as I'm aware, all pilots for a particular VA have the same multiplyer and all have the same pay. I'll have a look at NEWFly but this may be one for the database/program boys
EDIT..
amb.. looking at your airline and the flights done.. all those made recently (since the new client release) seem to be on x50. The others are still showing x300 as they were completed before the new client was introduced and those pilots may not have flown using the new client. At least one pilot is using the new client (Antonio David) and his flight recorded x50. It looks like all is working ok but keep an eye on future flights done by other pilots. All should reflect x50

Thanks david
With the same version of the client v1.0.3 a pilot multiplied by 300 and by another 50, watch the last two flights NEWfly Airlines.
My NEWfly VA has a balance of 6.221.150.087v$ and should be multiplied by 100, is not it?

Hi,
The < sign means 'less than'. If your VA was worth were less than $5 billion then to would be 100. Your VA is in the category < (less than) $10 billion so your multiplier is 50. When your VA value becomes > (greater than $10 billion the multiplier will become 25.

John

Also the assets of an airline are not just the balance, but the value of its fleets too!
It seems completely wrong that you have pilots that can use a 300 multiplier.

Hi amb..
Yes.. sorry for not looking back further. Looking at your airlines activity, it's done 20flights since FSA v100 was released. Some pilots did not fly until 26th (6 days after v100) or later and it seems to be these (2 pilots.. Maximiliano Manzini - NFY412 and Jose Miguel Alonso - NFY402) that have remained on x300. The 2 pilots active since the new client release are both on x50.
For Joe/John/CT..
I checked back far beyond the last 8 flights but as an example.. NFY412 flew on the 27th and again on the 28th.. both flights recording a x300 multiplier for the pilot. NFY402 flew on the 27th and recorded x300. The other 2 active pilots.. NFY404 and NFY403 have completed a number of flights (5 out of the last 8 ) and all are recorded with x50.
Sri I can't be of more help but there's definately something not right with the 2 'only recently active' pilots.
amb..
Fingers crossed the team will be able to see something I cannot

Re: Why is my "Gross profit" is multiplied by 50 ?
Sorry for the delay in this one, I needed to have the solution in place before making an announcement.
The problem here is that when you book a flight using the VA interface its using the old flynet logic to calculate the multiplier, and I believe the two pilots in question booked there flights using that method. I have updated the client interface so that it will recalculate the maximum multiplier at the time the client starts the flight, so this specific problem should be avoided in the future.
