How To Post Problems and Get Them Resolved

Post by alasizon » Tue Sep 23, 2008 1:38 am

This is an updated version of Quantam's original post in the FLYNET Problems section.

After making the switch to the new FSAirlines server, we have noticed a lot of problems with the new client and website.

Here are relative guidelines that can be followed in most situations.

If I have a.......

Issue with the client not functioning properly:Create a post in this forum that includes all of the following elements
  • Your Name
    Airline
    Aircraft(If Applicable)
    Route(If Applicable)
A clear description of the problem in English
Issue with the website or forum not working for you:Create a post in the forum that includes all of the following elements:
  • Your Name
    Location of Issue
A clear description of the problem in English
Issue with a flight not going as planned: Create a post in this forum that includes all of the following elements:
  • Your Name
    VA
    Flight Number
    Aircraft
    Route
    Time of Problem(If applicable)
A clear decription of the problem in English
Issue with the database such as stuck aircraft or dramatic loss of reputation for no reason:Either create a post in this forum that includes all of the elements listed below OR contact Joe Fremont through a private message(on the site not the forum) that includes all of the following elements:
  • Your Name
    Airline
    Aircraft
Issue with aircraft(Or other database item)
A Clear description of the problem in English.
Another option to the problem above is to email support@fsairlines.net with all of the data above.

A flight marked for review:Send a private mesage(on the site not the forum) to any DB admin explaining what happened with the flight and why it should not have appropriate figures assigned to it or deleted.

You suspect activity that is against the rules is going on:Contact any staff member(marked by red names on the forums) as soon as possible. Please include all data available

If English, is not your first language, please use a translation site such as freetranslation.com to help us respond to your problem

Hopefully this will help everyone get their problems resolved as soon as possible
