Problem With Messages On FSAirlines Site.

Post by Myrm » Sun Sep 21, 2008 5:16 pm

Hi

Since the move to FSAirlines I am experiencing problems with messages delivered to my FSAirlines Inbox.

Twice now I have recieved an email notification that I have messages in my FSAirlines Inbox, but when I log in and go to the Messages menu, there are no messages for me. My CEO has said he sent them to me so they are not spurious notifications. I tried sending one to him and he received it.

I have tried looking for them using Firefox 3 and IE browsers, but get the same results; no messages.

Please advise.

Thank you.
Myrm

Thanks. I got yours, but it seems that messages sent from my CEO are not getting to me :(

Quite odd, I tried sending one as CEO to myself and it worked so its not a damper on CEO functions, could be his/her computer.

You must have the magic touch! Since getting your message, I am now able to read my CEO's messages. Thanks :D

Hi,

You have to be clear where you are expecting the message. If you recieved an email saying you had messages, that refers to the FSAirlines forum. As far as I am aware message on FSAirlines website has no email alert facility.

Well bless my cotton socks, something else to load the website up with and slow it down. It must be Easter and I haven't found all the eggs yet  .

Hi

I am having this problem again.

This morning I received an email from noreply(at)fsairlines.net stating; "Hello! You have a new message in your FSAirlines Inbox. http://www.fsairlines.net". When I login to my FSAirlines account (the main site, not the forum), I have no messages in my inbox.

I have no idea who messaged me, or what it was about. For all I know it could have been important. Is anybody else receiving these spurious email messages?

Is there anyway the admin staff can look at messages I have received via my FSAirlines message box?

(John (Quantam) there is now, and was on the old Client, an email alert system whereby when you received a personal message in your Inbox (not forum), you were emailed notifying you of this fact. I have been using it to notify me of messages since I first joined FlyNET, as it was then. Can't understand why you, as admin, did not know that :? )

Hi,

Well in the big picture I've not been an admin for long. Sometimes these new features sneak in without a fanfare or a drum roll
