Editing Gates - changes not in effect

We have a couple gates under one of our fleets and for some reason we cannot edit any information. For example, while seeing the gates listed under the selected fleet and clicking the "I" icon at end of status field, we click "edit gate" in the Management options and attempt to change the gate name, click edit and see the message "Record edit accepted" but no change happens. We thought perhaps it changes after a maintenance cycle but still the change never appears. Also tried to change the minimum aircraft size (DOW) and same thing.
