Wrong airport ?

FSA app says I'm at wrong airport when I go to "FLY" and "Correct FS settings: wrong airport

meanwhile under Flight Information it shows my location as the correct airport.

I cannot seem to initialize this flight in the app, have resrarted it several times and restarted X-plane also.

Also noticed it says X-Plane 10 and I'm using 11, do not own 10.

Did you try cycling the client by closing it and reopening? Sometimes it just gets a brain freeze.

KMRY - Monterey is an airport that has been around a long time and whose code has not changed in recent memory so I don't think its a problem of the sim used. The client tries to figure out where you are by using the report lat/lon coordinates and comparing that to the known location of the airport and seeing if it another airport is closer. Try starting the client when you are at the other end of the runway or maybe parked at the terminal.

As for the version, we use XPUIPC to communicate with X-Plane, and unfortunately it does not give us the version of x-plane you are using so it really can't tell if your using X-Plane 10,11 or 12.

yes, cycled the FSA client several times, nothing changed.

KMRY Monterey is where I first soloed, however my flight plan is KMRY Myrtle Beach, SC ! All to easy to confuse, I do it myself.

So, I just did another flight, KLAS to MMMX and the client is still stuck on saying I am at KLAS and destination YBBN (after tech stop).

So this is the FSA end of flight screen after KLAS to MMMX. Somehow I need to "end" the KLAS -> YBBN flight.

This has never happened before and I have used technical stops with no issues previously.

Open up your flight sim at that airport and what are the GPS coordinates it is showing? It should be close to what I listed above.

Sorry I transposed the digits but again, that airport has been around for a while and as far as I know all the sims should have it in the same location.

same here, tryed several Airports, i get this Message in Memphis and Zurich, both Airports i landed regulary, but cant start from there, not with Simconnect and not with FSUIPC7 Try to taxi to another Gate, the Runways, the Taxilines, no chance, im in the middle of Zurich LSZH and FSAirlines says, im at the wrong Airport

Im getting the same thing at EGGP, never ran into something like this before.

I tried cycling the client and stuff to no avail. I flew in and landed here EGGP in the same plane last month so not sure why the client wont register it as being the correct airport now.


Update: Cancelling the flight and restarting MSFS seems to have fixed it

Check and restart FSIUPC, then FSAirlines client if needed.

I needed to do a full reboot and rebook my flight to get it to work, but it did work. No problems since (done 5-6 flights at least since then).
