Limit on Learjet 45's to 1 per airline?

Post by Cat » Mon Jun 07, 2021 8:04 pm

We own one LJ45 and just tried to lease another one and got this error message:

We are limited to ONE LearJet 45 per airline? Really? I'm thinking it's a code glitch somewhere

I posted the one we own for sale to see if that changed anything, nope.

That is in indeed odd.

We have for each aircraft in our database the number of aircraft produced and the system does not allow an allow an airline to have more than that number. But I don't know why the LJ45 was set at one, that makes no sense and double checked that even my airline has two. Someone must have submitted an update and changed the number to 1 (it may have been blank before). I updated it to 642, I also updated about a dozen more that also had 1 as the number produced.

Was thinking about this and our current rule for commercial vs special use aircraft and the dividing line right now is more than six produced. So here is a list of all the 'commercial' aircraft in our database where the number of aircraft produced is listed as six or less.

Airbus A330-900: 3 Delivered: 57
Airbus A350-900ULR: 4 Singapore Airlines has ordered 7 so will change the total to that.
Antonov An-158: 6 Planesptters.net shows 7 158's that have been delivered so will change the number to 7
ATR ATR-72-200F: 5
Boeing 737-400QC: 3
Bombardier DHC-8Q-402PF: 3
Comac ARJ21-700: 6 Changed to 58
Embraer ERJ-145ER: 5
Epic Aircraft E1000: 2
Fokker 60: 4 Only four completed, all of delivered to the Royal Netherlands Air Force: Change to military
Ilyushin IL-114-100: 5
Ilyushin IL-76TD-90SW: 6
McDonnell Douglas MD-82SF: 3
Short S.17 Kent: 3 Actual produced 3, will change to special use
Sikorsky SH-60L: 2
Sud Aviation SE-210 Caravelle 11R: 6 Only six were produced but since this is a varient of an aircraft where many were produced will leave it as is
Sukhoi Superjet 100-95B: 4 Not sure how many of each varient but 172 total have been produced so will set each of these to 60
Sukhoi Superjet 100-95LR: 4 See above
Zeppelin GmbH Zeppelin NT: 4 7 Produced

I figure we need to research the number produced for each of these or reset them as 'special use' to keep things consistent.

Edit: Will add a note in red when we find an answer for each of these AC.
