Flight Monitor

Post by sc07tyd » Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:08 pm

Can we use this on our own website.
I've not seen to written anywhere.

Would love to display My VA's current flight plans.

On a side note, is anything being sorted about server speed? I find your website quite slow and now I've started integrating my site with XML it has considerably dragged down it's performance.

Thanks

You can use our flight monitor map on your website, no problem. And we're currently setting up a new, more powerful server which should speed everything up.

Thanks for the reply.
Are there any docs on using the flight monitor.

I'm not quite sure how to implement it.

Found out how to do it with an iframe.
Problem is your map is too wide for my website.

Any chance of getting dimensions put into the url variables?

Thanks

Sorry, but there currently is no parameter to change that. It's actually not officially part of the integration pack. We want to create a special flight monitor for the integration pack, but I can't give you a release date. What you could do is to just get the flight data from the XML-interface and then create your own map using the Google-Maps API.
