Press Release: February 19th, 2009

North Eastern Airways has bought its seventh Boeing 777-200LRF from ANZAS today. We were getting a great deal on a plane that only had twelve flight hours on it, so it was practically brand new! Its currently located in Sydney, but will undergo its firsts commercial flights with us when we fly it back to Memphis where our cargo airline is based. From Memphis it will be sent to one of our major cargo hubs where it will be based.

In other news, we also have sold two Embraer 190 jets to QXE Air for 40 million dollars total. In another deal, we sold three McDonnel Douglas DC-10-30F aircraft to Amazonas Cargo of Brizil for a reported 150million dollars for all three aircraft. Our total of DC-10-30F stands at six aircraft however these aircraft havent flown since October 31st, 2008 and have been sitting for the last 3 1/2 months waiting for new owners. We once had a fleet of over 20 DC-10-30F after our merger with British Airways Virtual Cargo back earlier last year, but since then we have slowly been retiring them and instead operating Boeing 777-200LRF's and MD-11F's.

Press Release: March 24th, 2009

Today, North Eastern Airways has sold its remaining five DC-10-30F's to Frontline Dirty Dozen. This marks the end to our DC-10 Ops after nearly two full years or use. At once, we operated a fleet of over 25 DC-10's and was the largest operator of the type. The DC-10 was replaced in our fleet by both the Boeing 777-200LRF and MD-11F. The 777-200LRF is a brand new frieghter based off of the 777-200LR passenger aircraft. We currently operate a fleet of seven 777F's with a planned fleet of 22 by 2011. Our first 777F's were used to retire our Boeing 747-400ERF's earlier last year when we launched the whole 777F program. The MD-11F was developed from the DC-10 and is an increase in size and has better economics over it. We currently have a fleet of three MD-11F's and have a planned fleet of 11 by 2011.
