Landing fee & Airports operating hours
Can make it more realistic, so if the aircraft landing at non-operating hours its can case an additional fee, every landing fee depends on the aircraft type and the airport size + depends on the airport position (near a city, capital and etc).

Re: Landing fee & Airports operating hours
We discussed adding landing fees at but decided against it as it was basically just adding to the cost of doing business without adding much else, we added parking fees instead.
The problem with adding a fee if the land outside of normal hours is what clock to do use? The clock at the pilots home? actual local time at the airport or the simulator time, which can be manipulated and many pilots can only fly late at night when other work/family obligations are met, I would not want to punish them for flying off hours, but what are other peoples thoughts?

I've sworn an oath of solitude until the pestilence is purged from the lands.

Thank you for the explanation of the complexity
but what about maybe adding a realism button? for those features (Don't really know the complexity of developing a feature like this).

Ì agree with Joe that timezones would be very easy to manipulate and messy to work with given our virtual hobby covers multiple timezones. And that penalising landings outside of standard hours could be counter productive, again for the reasons given. FSA already records flight departure and arrival times. Perhaps CEOs could use this information to sanction pilots thru that airlines ranking system. We do not currently acknowledge airport curfews or Barra where tides prevent beach landings on certain week days or even airport closures in bad weather. Methinks could be a case where it is more practical that individual VAs set their own rules.
