More information in the briefing document

I really like the briefing document that is generated for a flight as it gives a bunch of handy information. I'm wondering if we could have METARs added for the originating and destination airports as well. Also, maybe a link to Simbrief? I think they can populate a flight based on an airport pair and aircraft type in the URL.

SimBrief looks interesting, its free and they have an API. I will have to see if I can find out about it. If anyone finds the page that describes how FSA can access there data it would be appreciated.

This would be an excellent addition especially SimBrief it would save me time by generating the route already. I hope you can get this to work Joe!

Check out their support forums for a VA integration guide. It looks pretty advanced and can use XML and what appears to be JSON calls. But there's also a more straightforward way to generate URLs that would probably be much easier.

Hey,
yes no problem, but you could include the following for the beginning:
<a href="
http://www.simbrief.com/system/dispatch ... =4&stem=30" target="_blank"><img src="
http://www.simbrief.com/previews/sblogo_small.png"></a>
Airline = ICAO identifier:
fltnum= flight number
type= Aircraft
etc.
I hope you can just include this as it would be very helpful.
you can found all href Information in the Table here:

Thanks a lot
Best regards
