Cargo and Passenger Adjustments in client.

I was having some conversations not that long ago with some pilots who, because of the landing weight warnings wanted to be able to adjust number of passengers or amount of cargo, even if the flight was going to be below the max takeoff weight.

Right now in the client if you are above MTO "change" buttons activate next to passengers and cargo and if you press one it reduces that value so you are at MTO. The client calculates how much to reduce it, you don't enter how much. So if we were to allow you to reduce the pax and cargo in the client I am not certain how that would work, or even if there is a requirement for it.

The more I think about it the more I believe there is no valid use case for it, maybe someone here could come up with one.

There is no valid reason Joe.

I think the best course of action is to continue to have pilots submit updates to aircraft databases to reflect the proper max landing weights and over time, they will work themselves out.
