Airline/pilot route plans visualisation on map?

I know this may sound a little extreme,
but would it be possible to have current flight plan routes, and pilots flown routes from a logbook shown on a map, selectable by aircraft type, airport departure and airport destination, selectable from inside the VA?
It almost does it already when you go to book a flight, it gives a representation of what flights are available from your location, I just think it would be nice to have that visualised as well.
I kow the admins are trying to chase down other things at present, but it would be good to see what others think of the idea.
