JUST pilot rank scale

Post by caphawk » Fri Apr 07, 2006 1:11 am

The actual pilot rank have

0.0 to 10 points Second Flight Officer (SFO)
10.1 to 25.0 points First Flight Officer (FFO)
25.1 to 50.0 points Captain (C)
50.1 to 100.0 points Flight Captain (FC)
100.1 to 500.0 points Senior Captain (SC)
500.1+ points Senior Flight Captain (SFC)

For the next rank we need
SFO-- scale= 10 more flight hours (mfh)
FFO-- scale = 15 mfh
C----- scale= 25 mfh
FC---- scale= 50 mfh
SC----scale=400 mfh

This last rank have a abyss range!

I think that It need a happy-mid-rank...may be at 250 mfh...but 400 mfh
is a big jump....What do you thin about this new rank scale?

0------10 Second Flight Officer
10.1---25 First Flight Officer
25.1---50 Captain
50.1--100 Flight Captain
100.1-250 Senior Captain
250.1-500 Senior Flight Captain
500+ Master Captain or Commander Captain

Or any other new Idea :!:

Actually, I think that pilot ranks should be at the descretion of the airline.

Green Mountain Cargo will most likely have much higher transitions between ranks because we will only have a few types of aircraft and we'll have fewer total number of ranks as well.
