More aircraft data recorded...

Post by j4cko56 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 10:40 am

I have searched and i havent found anything, please dont kill me if this had been brought up.

On the page of a particular aircraft, it records maintenence, flights, purchases and transfers. Would it be possible to maybe record aircraft regestration and name changes? To give the aircraft a bit more depth, so you can see regestration changes through the times and airlines, giving it a bit more history.

Just an idea, hopefull it could be done in the future...

Something that i think i should add without making a new topic. Adding to the aircraft history, would it be possible to create a history of aircraft? For example i prob wont sell my 747-100s because no one wants them, so i will end up sadly scraping them...with out a real trace of them ever existing :( I will probably fly them to a scapping airport like Mojave, not after doing a retirment fly-by at Manchester, but after it is scrapped, thats it...it would be nice for FSA to have a record of all aircraft that are scrapped (only if it has flown), and each airline have a record of operated aircraft, like this...http://airfleets.net/flottecie/British%20Airways.htm, LVAs first aircraft, the CRJ-200ER "G-LCRA" has no record of existing :(

Just an idea, not how hard it is to do...
