Winglets version.

Hi simmers!

Won't it be great if you would be able to upgrade your 737NG with winglets!? So you could save fuel. I think this feuture can be a real good addition.
For example, you can buy a Boeing 737 with winglets for ( F.E. ) 60 million, and without winglets for 58 million. Adding them to a already existing aircraft would cost you 5 million, so that makes it cheaper to buy them complete from boieng field.

I hope we have the same thought. Winglets are a real good addition!

As it is now, we don't make a differentiation between the two and I don't think there's a need to. You buy the plane and you can fly with or without winglets if you like. Winglets only save fuel, they don't change the operating weights, don't change the range a lot, and don't make it that much faster, so why add the complication?

Because, we fly, just like a lot of other companies to destinations where the fuel prices are somewhat high. Having to buy less fuel ( up to 5% ) can save money.
This feuture will just make it more realistic, why would tons of airlines fly with those versions in RL?

Again, if the real airplane has winglets as an option now, there's nothing stopping you from flying that variation now as long as you have the right model of airplane. As winglets are an option on these aircraft and don't denote a wholly different model of aircraft, there is not a need to list them separately.

also, the ranges in the database are already for the wingleted (if applicable) version of the plane.
