Speed Below 10000ft. penalty????

Post by ar_hnazari » Thu Jan 14, 2010 9:33 pm

Dear developers

As many of virtual pilots fly over online networks like IVAO, they may have problems in crowded areas as a controller asks for highspeed departure or approach, and we have to justify the controller WHY I'M UNABLE TO DO SO......

So I suggest you exclude this penalty from your client or at least make it optional, so pilots can choose it. :?:

I don't know how other pilots agree or disagree this suggestion

Thank you...

Yep, is better to exclude that penalty, i rarely go over 240kt during my climb or descend speeds above 10000, and in almost every flight i do, i always receive a penalty, dudes i'm tired, please correct it and put that penalty to run when we go over 300 kts, or remove it.

Sorry guys,
but I actually quite like the (standard) speed restrictions, as it makes flying (REX) real weather a little more taxing during the climb out and approach phases of a flight, and yes I have been penalised in the when wind gusts have made me exceed the limits... besides which the standard descent speed (preset in many model FMC's at least) is 240Kts below 10000'.
But then some of the models I fly (DH89, DH104, DH95, DC3 etc) would never make either of those speeds (in controlled flight) anyway
