Yea that would be even better, then you don't have to offer the 2 routes, you can just have the bonus system and if people want to go direct they don't get penalised or a bonus, however if people want to use the route and successfully use it then they get a bonus.

Would the Pilot get a Bonus or would the Airline get a Bonus? (More money for the flight completed?)

Both would probably be better. Bonus for Airline, and Pilot.

Guys,

I'm going to ask that we drop this. It's not realistic in any way to have such a system in place and is not a good use of our system's resources or bandwidth. Beyond the problem of finding a way to put in all of the waypoints into our database and keeping it up-to-date (there's a new AIRAC cycle every 90 days) and the cost of buying the AIRAC database every cycle, in the real world there is ZERO evaluation on this, nor any requirement for this by the pilots or the airlines. Yes, I realize that pilots in the real world have to know how to plan a proper route and such, but it is up to them to plan and fly that route. They are not penalized or given bonuses by their airline for flying the routes they plan - there are far to many variables.

If you want to internally do something, that's great, but we already have the route section in the flightplans you upload, so we are already giving you a method by which to suggest to you crews what route to take while flying for your VA.

Absolutely agree with CAPFlyer on this.

The High & Low Airways change on a monthly basis as well as additions/deletions/renaming of ISEC points.
Staying up to date would be a nightmare, if we then add SID(DP's) & STARS to the mix, we are going to end up nowhere at all.
The FSArlines scenario is provided totally free, I fail to see why we should have to use 3rd party payware update sites (eg. Naivgraph) to use FSAirlines.
As Chris states, there is nothing to stop individual airlines adopting this policy amongst themselves.

Might I suggest that if you need to demonstrate you are practising realism, then flying at x1 would be the way to go.
