Yay! The old page is back!

I looked at it just now with a friend of mine who has never seen or used FSAirlines. I asked him; "As a new user, does this page overwhelm you with information?"

"Not at all, " he replied. "Everything is titled anyway; 'pilot' , 'last 5 flights'. Nothing confusing or overwhelming about that." He had his son with him (10 years of age) and even he was able to tell me what the information meant and certainly was not lost looking at it. In fact, he's now very interested in joining FSAirlines!

Anyway, good to see the page back to the way we liked it, after all, it isn't just about what the staff think, it's also about what the 'consumers' (us lot ) want. Isn't it? )

well there is a balance to the whole thing. info vs. server load + operating costs

I suggest a better thing... stop letting EVERYONE make their own new airline right away

I bet half the people on here made a va and never have flown it. All that info is taking up a lot of room. Maybe make it a "50 flights" rule before you can create your own.. and then who knows... maybe some of the pilots that join other va's will actually start enjoying a VA for what it's supposed to be for.. a group of flightsimmers, key word GROUP... so many solo these days , it's a shame....

I remember when there were about 6 one man shows(Air Mermaid, MIA, QXE, NEA, Weasal Air and Wardair), now a days its upwards of 50.

when ya can start with 1000x multiplier and buy a A380 in a day, and then fly it at 16x for a week and have a fleet of 747's..of course there is!

use to be for me... lol ive got 3 others only 2 really fly though... the one is probably going to expire out of the system...

but actually NEA started out as 3 of us from another server but they lost interest and quit after a few days...

ok some bugs on the new old overview... show all flights doesnt work, type ratings says you are unable to do that along with the request new partnerships. also any link you do click on the overview page, you get logged out...

I believe this was addressed in another thread.

look at the times... i posted nearly 12hrs before he did...
