Private aircraft like 737-7ET

Post by j4cko56 » Sat Mar 21, 2009 10:57 pm

I have a 737-7ET, and it's basicaly the Boeing Buisness Jet (BBJ), and i wanted to charge 3.5 times the price, because it would be VIP or luxury service! But no passengers got on (because it was so expensive). So would it be possibe to have a ticket factor of say 3.5 or 4 for 737-7ET and/or A319CJ, and others, even though the ticket factor would not be for the fuel, it would be for the "virtual luxury" service! :D You could imagine you were transporting the priminister or president... just a thought, doesn't sound like it would be to hard to enter a higher ticker factor?

Hope (really hope)! You will consider this...

The 7ET is not a luxury aircraft in the least bit.

Also, adding ticket factors higher than required for the aircraft may result in some abuse by people who fly them.

the 737-7ET is a BBJ used for prisioner transport... there also is no 737-7ET model. the ET is just like how southwest's 737-300/500/700's are 737-3H4/5H4 and -7H4, or airtran's 737-7BD,etc... there is only 1 737-7ET publicly known in the world and it carry's up to 127 pax... maybe in FSA we should change the name to BBJ since thats what people fly it as...

I have to admit that it should be changes to BBJ! I thought the "ET" stood for executive transport! I just think it would be a little different if you could do that (ticket factor thing i mean), but i'm confused about how i would abuse it?

Originally, the BBJ-1 was designated the 737-7ET (for Executive Transport). They have since changed the nomenclature but we've not updated it. However, the aircraft already has a ticket factor of 2.0. I don't believe we'll be raising that at this point.

Honestly, we need to have 3 entries (which I'll put in shortly). One for the BBJ1/737-700, one for the BBJ2/737-800, and one for the BBJ3/737-900ER. The 737-7ET will become the Boeing BBJ1.
