Is it possible to alter the FSAirlines "Messages" system to allow one to view one's sent messages?
At the moment all one has is the equivalent of an "Inbox", it would be useful to also have an "Outbox" and to be able to tell from that if a message has been read by the recipient.
Cheers

As I said in my post, I am referring to the FSAirlines message system. I am not referring to the Forum messages control panel but to the message page you can access on FSAirlines itself.Stan wrote:If you click on messages above you will see you already have an "outbox"

Re: Messages
Umm, no Stan, there isn't a repository for sent messages in FSAirlines visible to the user. Only an inbox. If you "click above the messages" as you state, you go to the form to send a new message.
I think that is a good idea to have your sent messages visible to you in case something happens and it doesn't get through.

Re: Messages
also, could the messages FSA messages include more info? like just had a partner end a partnership (was no loss for me ) but when i saw the message had no clue who, so had to go and look at who was missing... same with leasing, could the airline's name be put so you know who leased it...

Re: Messages
Or even better a "Delete All" Button. With leasing companies, we recieve quite a load of messages and if we forget to delete them all, they start to turn into a couple hundred in our inbox.

Re: Messages
Is there no more "new message" notification anymore like it was with flynet?
It would be nice to see when new messages arrived.

It automatically directs you to your message page when you log in if you have new messages also you can select to recieve an email when you get a new one via your profile.

I think what Gøran means (he will correct me if I am wrong) is that it would be good to have a notification in the client if there is an unread message in your FSAirlines inbox. It is possible to operate (via the integrations suite) without actually going into the FSAirlines web page so in that case one would not know that a message was waiting (assuming that the email on new message is not set in your profile).Quantum wrote:Are the website messages and the forum not enough?WIF1001 wrote:And is it possible to get an messages system in the client?

Yes to this too, Malcom.
I have been flying for some VA, and they have an "chat" system in the flight loging client.
For FSAirlines this will be an great thing, as all of the pilot a round the world can speake togheter and if someone has any problems they can get some answaer right a way.....
