my idea, isnt orignally mine and i am just posting it for a friend in my airline, anyway it goes like this...

...we have a map which displays all your routes, which when you put the mouse of the line or click it it displays information about how much fuel you will need, how much time it will take, or another thing we can do is click on one airport and then click on another and it then calucates the distance and fuel needed to get from A - B.

the only problem i see is the fuel burn rate and type of aircraft issue so i say that it works of a formula which displays the average fuel burn rate which you then either have to add or subject the amount of fuel
