Changing A/C type and apecific A/C in Codeshaerd routes

What about the ability to change the selected aircraft type and specific aircraft in an already accepted codeshared route? I know it's been discussed before but I think it would be a useful feature, especially since there are routes which had been codeshared before the implementation of the feature for choosing the aircraft when accepting a codeshared route.
