Since the devs have FSX now...

Post by Heretic » Mon Oct 08, 2007 5:56 pm

...what about an extra FSX version of the client using Simconnect instead of FSUIPC?

It would make life a bit easier and our FSX folder and module lists just a tiiiny bit sleaker.

there will be FSX client, don't know about simconnect though.

I'm sure they will play around with all sorts of options.

i didn't try it yet, but doesn't flynet work with FS-X anyway? I'll check it later and have a look at simconnect, cause I never heard of it.

So does FS9...:D

SimConnect is the FSX-native FSUIPC-like connection..."thingy".

The FlyNet client works in FSX but only via FSUIPC.

FSX.

FS9 looks too old for my taste.
And no, I don't need to be proven wrong, so please don't waste your time posting pics of your pimped FS9.

I enjoy them both, for different reasons:
FSX,,,,,Great missions to complete
FS9,,,,,Great addon aircraft

But in about a year i guess i will only fly FSX when there is more to add to it.
