Don't you think that those beeps coming from the internal speaker are disgusting?

After a year of flynet, I can say they grow on you. If I fly sans-flynet, I always anticipate the beep on touchdown. It makes me feel like I'm missing something when I don't hear it.

I have a new machine that does not seam to have an internal speaker that I can hear (my old system does). But I can hear the bing bong when a flight ends. I have no problem with the current sounds, but it would be nice if they all came out the sound card rather than having some come out the internal speaker.

I would recommend opening your computer and unplugging the internal speaker (unless it's attached to your motherboard)

Can we just add an option to disable them? I like having my PC speaker enabled to hear my startup POST sounds and so I'm not going to unplug it, but I would rather not have the beeps.

Hello all,

Interesting to note that the only BEEP I've ever heard is at the very end of the flight, post Parking break. Are there a number of beep's that I'm supposed to be hearing but for some reason am not?

I hear a beep when i start to taxi...and when i lift off...

Also when i touch down (a beep for each main wheel)

then the ding dong sound when flight ends.

i don't mind the end one...but the rest are kinda annoying.
